All ASL students are required to attend an approved deaf activity each semester. ASL 1 students attend 1 activity per semester, ASL 2 students attend 1 in the fall and 2 in the spring semester. ASL 3 students must attend 2 activities per semester. These are major grades and students cannot substitute a "chance" meeting with a member of the deaf community (i.e. seeing someone at a restaurant, grocery store, etc.). If you are uncertain whether you can use an interaction that was not pre-approved, please see me!

***Parents, please be advised that these activities are open to all members of the deaf community and some may not be suitable for minors on the "deaf events" calendar. Please read the details about each activity carefully before giving permission for your student to attend.
