Meet the staff athletic trainers!!!
Brandy Gothard is a 1988 graduate of Irion County High school, and went on to McMurry University where he graduated in 1994. His first job was at Ozona High School for three years, he was the head athletic trainer at Waller High School for 10 years, and is now in his 6th year at Lake Travis. Brandy and his wife Maribel have three children: Aspen, Autumn, and Copland.
Melissa Ochs is entering her first year at Lake Travis High School. She came from McNeil High School where she was the assistant for two years. Melissa started her career working for the University of New Mexico as a graduate assistant. While there she helped the Lobos earn conference titles in Men’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, and obtained her Masters in Sports Administration. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Athletic Training from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2008. Melissa enjoys staying active, traveling, camping, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. While at home she spends time with her schnauzer, Bella.
