Ms. Wendy Phillips attended Texas Christian University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She also earned her Masters of Education Degree in Secondary Administration from TCU in 2003.
 

Ms. Phillips taught high school math for eight years at Lake Travis High School and served as the Department Chairperson for the Mathematics Department. Ms. Phillips has been an assistant principal at Lake Travis High School since 2011.

 

Ms. Phillips enjoys cheering on the LTHS Cavs and TCU Horned Frogs, yoga, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Mr. Paulson earned his Bachelor of Arts in special education and regular education from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  He completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, in 1999 and completed coursework for his Superintendent’s Certificate at Texas State University.

Mr. Paulson taught special education for four years and was a sixth-grade math teacher for two years.  His first job as an assistant principal was in Eanes ISD.  He worked for two years at Cedar Creek Elementary and Eanes Elementary and for seven years at Hill Country Middle School in Eanes ISD.  Mr. Paulson’s first year as an assistant principal at Lake Travis High School was in 2008.

 Mr. Paulson is married to Tara Paulson, a department chair at Lake Travis High School and teacher of AP English 4, English 4, CAVS Academy, and Humanities.  He has two children who attend school in Eanes ISD and two step-children who attend school in LTISD.  Mr. Paulson enjoys taking family trips, camping, exercising, reading, and enjoying time with his family.

Mr. Roy Hudson completed his bachelor’s degree at Weber State University where he also played football from 1990-1993.  Roy completed his education credentials from Sul Ross University and a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from Walden University in 2009. 

Mr. Hudson has worked in education as a teacher and a coach for fifteen years.  He started coaching at Lake Travis in 2003 and helped the football team win their first State Championship in 2007 over Highland Park High School as the Special Teams Coordinator and Secondary Coach.  He has worked as an Assistant Principal at Lake Travis High School since September of 2007 

Mr. Hudson’s wife Becky is an AP World History teacher at Vandergrift High School.  They have three children.  Cooper is their oldest and he will be five this February.  Lauren and Julia both turned three this past July.  They also have a chocolate lab, Sienna.  When Roy is not working or taking care of the family, he enjoys hunting, golfing, fishing, and working in the yard.
