Hudson Bend Shoe Drive         Sept. 16-Nov. 5

NJHS will be collecting used shoes for Soles for Souls. Bring in all types of shoes, and drop them off in the marked collection bins in the upstairs neighborhood spaces. These shoe donations will be delivered to countries around the world to communities in need. All shoes are accepted in any condition: sneakers, boots, heels, sandals, and even flip flops. The grade that donates the most used shoes will earn a Go Time in the cafeteria with their devices one day in November! If you have any questions, please see Ms. O’Brien or Ms. McDermott.

    Does your child love Math?
HBMS has started its second year of the MathCounts club.

MathCounts is a national middle school competition, grades 6 through 8, which began in 1983 and has now over 500, 000 students participating annually.
Please encourage your child to come and join the Math Counts Club for extra challenge!

The practice takes place every Wednesday afternoon in room 734, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The students participating will be able to represent HBMS and compete against students from other schools across Texas.
